Reticulated Oval Plate
The reticulated pattern is one of the patterns that has been respected as an auspicious omen in Japan from ancient times.
The reticulation which is tied together and never separated is said not to let the good luck slip out, and has been recognized as a good luck charm.
Our reticulation is painted in white on the indigo color that reminds us of indigo dyeing, which has been loved in Japan for a long time.
The rim and the outside of the bowl is painted in our original vermilion color which was inspired by the color of the “Romon (two-storied gate)” in Takeo, our hometown.
